Key Findings:
1. My Vertical Jump Power is at the same level of an elite basketball player with on a 1.9 cm difference.
2. My grip strength, weight and height are significantly lower than the average results for elite basketball player, there is a 22.8 kg difference in my weight, an 18.5 kg difference in my grip strength and a 13.9 cm height difference in comparison to an elite basketball player.
3. My sprint speed is and aerobic capacity is reasonably close to an elite basketball player as there is only a 2 km/h difference in my sprint speed and a 8 mL/min/kg.
These statistics show that physically I am not of the ideal size to play professional basketball as I am smaller and lighter than the average basketball player, although my vertical jump power and sprint speed will make up for this as I will be able to jump as high and keep up with the bigger players. This elite performer tool will be helpful to coaches it will help to measure an athletes physical attributes although several sports don't require certain testing points i.e. Soccer doesn't require grip strength, a better option to test this in soccer will be kicking power. This elite performer tool doesn't compensate for an athletes skill as an athlete can be built the same as an elite basketball player but if they have no skills they won't succeed. Also an athletes mental smarts for their sport will determine whether or not they will be suitable to play. This performer tool isn't as accurate as it could be as it doesn't allow for an athletes ability besides their physical attributes, and the testing points aren't required for all sports.
